A booking fee of £25 is payable which is non-refundable. This will be deducted from the overall cost of the cake. No cake will be deemed to be booked if this is not paid within 7 days of ordering your cake.
For cakes booked online, the deposit must be paid within 7 days of my confirmation email. If I do not receive the deposit within this time, I reserve the right to cancel the cake order.
A deposit of 50% is payable 6 weeks prior to the delivery date which is non-refundable.
The balance is payable, in cash, 7 days before the delivery date.
Any changes to the agreed design cannot be made after 6 weeks prior to the wedding; Firana reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.
If for any reason Firana cannot deliver the cake, I reserve the right to ask you to pick the cake up yourself or make alternate arrangements. A charge is payable if delivery is more than 15 miles from our premises, at our discretion.
Weather conditions may alter the colour slightly for which Firana cannot be held responsible.
Firana will do there best to adhere to the design and type of cake but Firana reserve the right to change or alter the design and type if there are good reasons for doing so. I will inform you of any changes to the order as soon as possible.
Because all designs are handcrafted they may differ slightly from the picture.
Firana reserve the right to photograph the cake on delivery and these photographs remain our property.
Firana will photograph the cake as proof of delivery.
All models are caricatures and meant for fun, they will only have a reasonable resemblance to the person.
Firana cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery if circumstances are out of my control.
Firana will do there very best to deliver to you, a perfect cake. If for any reason you have a complaint, please contact us within 3 days. Please do not dispose of the cake but return it to us (we will arrange for pick up) with details of your complaint.
If you have not arranged for someone at the delivery point to accept the cake, the cake will be deemed to be acceptable. Firana will arrange with you a suitable delivery time. If the cake is to be left unattended, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss occurring after we have left the venue.
All cakes may contain traces of nuts and fruit cakes will contain alcohol unless specifically requested.
Models and flowers will contain either wire or cocktail sticks, and should not be eaten.
Sponge cakes need to be refrigerated as soon as possible and must be eaten within 5 days. Fruit cakes should be wrapped and eaten within 2 weeks. These cakes can be frozen.
Portion guides are only approximate and dependent on correct cutting. Firana cannot be held responsible for shortfalls in portions. We would advise you to purchase a “kitchen” cake to ensure you do not have a shortfall.
